To ensure optimal shelf life, we recommend storing the dried food in its original packaging in a tightly closed container, preferably in an airtight container.

The dry food should be stored in a dry and dust-free place, at room temperature or cooler and away from direct sunlight. The expiry date of Alvar's dry food is one year after the food has been produced. To ensure freshness and taste, we recommend using up the food within approx. 3 months after opening the bag.
