Carbon offsets are not a solution to the climate problem and should not be the primary means of achieving low emissions for businesses. Reducing emissions is a more effective way to combat climate change. However, offsetting is one of the tools in climate change migitation that should not be left out. 

We wanted to choose a high quality projects nearby that fits our missions. For this reason, we co-operate with the Finnish offset operator Nordic Green Solutions (NGS). They offset an amount equal to our carbon footprint by extending the carbon sequestration cycle of Finnish forests and reforesting new forest areas. NGS's activities are based on the expertise of Finnish universities and other experts in the field, as well as cooperation with landowners.
