Alvar's recipes use high quality raw materials from well-known suppliers and all the raw materials have been carefully analysed before they are used in production. Raw materials are traceable throughout the production chain and strict quality control is carried out during production. Transport and storage are also carried out under self-supervision.

Finished foods have undergone laboratory analysis to confirm nutrient content and a comprehensive feeding test to check palatability and assess digestibility.
