Alvar's recipes have been developed as complete food and accordingly contain all the nutrients a dog needs. An additional supply of raw food is therefore not necessary. However, raw food can be added as a supplement in small quantities. The general recommendation is that treats, leftovers, etc. used in addition to the complete diet should not exceed 10% of the daily energy intake. 

If larger amounts of raw food are to be used, it is advisable to have your dog's diet planned by a dog nutritionist.
