Always supervise your dog when it’s eating chews. It’s also good to make sure, that your dog gets to chew in peace: if your dog is greedy or disturbed, it may try to guzzle the chew too quickly - causing a suffocation risk.

If you suspect your dog has swallowed a chew, monitor your dog’s behaviour: usually digestion does its job and no further actions are needed, but with bad luck the chew chunk can cause a blockage that requires a visit to the vet.
