The wild fish topper includes Finnish wild lake fish, the species may vary because of seasonal differences. 

The species that we use in Alvar's Wild fish Topper are small fish that have little to no demand on human plates – Smelt, Roach, Bleak, Needle Vendace. They are caught by accident as side streams when fishing other, more "valuable" fish. Because of that, they are usually then thrown in the trash, hence the nickname "trash fish". Another man's trash is another dog's treasure!
